I thought its just a normal/typical Mecha-Genre anime. I was totally wrong. This anime is a total masterpiece, it takes you along through their well written story and also through the romance between Hiro and Zero Two. Love is the main theme of the story. Its one of the most touching anime that I've ever seen. Plus, I also love the art style.
