Winter Quest

I'm an adult and I've enjoyed this show for a few reasons; first, it really brought me back to junior high school- a time I have long since forgotten about. I really stepped back into that dramatic and tumultuous time and re-analize those years in retrospect to see how much- or how little- it affected the big picture of my life. Also, the story takes place in exactly the geographic location I grew up in- the suburbs in NY with the City calling one way and Montauk in the other. Our schools were half Christian/ half Jewish and summers were filled with trips to grandparents in Florida and summer camps in New Jersey or way out on the island. I could have written every character based on real people in my life. I like this show but I DO wonder what the target audience is- though it seems young people are giving good reviews. As for adults, I'm just not sure if it would be as effective if I hadn't grown up with this exact childhood.

This is one of the best 'news and opinion shows' on Fox TV now. Tucker hasn't sold out to the mob and is still a beacon for free speech and honesty. I'm looked forward to adding Fox Nation- too bad they don't offer it through my local Cable streaming service apps but I think it can be streamed through xbox one- just not as convenient. I won't hold my breath that California Comcast cable will add the app..but I keep looking!

This show is the epitome of the new 'hate entertainment' model the media is feeding the masses now. It's all fake, one sided opinion pieces masquerading as some sort of 'journalism' - of which there is none. Once a show manipulates clips with heavy editing and cherry picks facts to fit a narrative they quickly become tabloid level fake news. Right now they're riding the wave of sick viewer interest in fake pieces that confirm false beliefs..but in the end these kinds of garbage peddlers won't last. Eventually, people will crave truth again and sitcom news like 60 Minutes will wish they had even an 1/8th of the integrity they had their first years of broadcast
