HORRIBLE SHOW!!! I did not read the book so I can't compare but this is typical, liberal Hollywood shoving their leftist views down our throats. It plays that all white people are bad and all non-white people are all victims.... and justified in their dishonesty and scheming to get what they want. The whole baby desertion/adoption/legal proceedings hit a little close to home for me. The Bebe character left her baby in the cold and then demanded she get it back once the little girl was healthy and thriving. Then she steals the baby once the verdict rules that the adoptive parents have legal custody!! And we are supposed to feel happy for her? That she was justified and vindicated just by being the birth mother and contrite for her bad choices???!!! Hollywood is sick and perverse...
