JJ Abrams did a fantastic job overcoming the B.S. that he had to fix from the train wreck that was The Last Jedi, and delivered a very satisfying finish to the Skywalker saga. The movie may have seemed slightly rushed at first, but it was necessary to fit everything in that had to be explained from the previous movie, while also tying together all previous 8 films. The film holds the attention and amazes a general audience member, but also includes many Easter eggs that hardcore fans can enjoy. The film even offers some callbacks to the old EU novels that are no longer “canon”, but of which hardcore fans love. This film was my personal favorite of the new films.
