I really enjoyed this eerie, unsettling miniseries. I'm not a big fan of Julua Roberts-- she is always the same actress over and over. But I have to say I thought she was very good in this and found her hapless, isolated, lonely, rigid character believable. I loved the actor who played Walter Cruz, too. He was hopeful, vulnerable and seeking connection, and found a kindered vulnerability in Julia Robert's character who was forced to break open and feel, remember, and be human again. I didnt mind the pace or its creepy, psychic gaslighting disjointedness. I was pulled in and let the oddness of it all wash over me until I finally realized Homecoming is an unusual love story, one where forgiveness, memory, and redemption have to to be found so we can be free to do the next great thing.
