Wish I could rate it ZERO! its AWFUL. I've seen the original AND the SyFy Channel remake. And even SyFy Channel fell short of telling the story well. THIS abomination doesnt even tell the WHOLE story! You miss the Guild guiding the Emporers hand, and even worse, you NEVER see Moad Dib rise to power or bring water to Arrakis...DON'T BOTHER SEEING IT! And to those who wasted their money in a Theater, my sympathies. Dennis V, go back to France and do what you do best, cause it certainly isnt makeing movies. To the Dune newcomers, WATCH THE ORIGINAL! ....you'll THANK me.

I could give a more realistic if I could FIND the film to WATCH it. Apparently Mr. Wheatly would rather have Sundance Accolades than money in his pocket. Gee, glad I don't work for the guy, HOW would he PAY me?
