Sherni (2021)
As someone who has eye-balled over quite a few wildlife documentaries, this movie positions itself way below the standards.
Acting finesse of the lead actress is one of the reasons to score this movie with any star in the first place. Regardless of good actors and their flair of the art, the movie falls flat with a very feeble presentation of message- which, wistfully, falls between the cracks of "redundant" polictian-battles, rallies; and conversations that are neither amusing nor purposive.
Though the story had the potential of being shared and weaved through- from various angles, the makers failed to expatiate upon the theme to label it as a "thriller" in any way that stands justified.
TL;DR : Excitement of the trailer followed by the disappointment of the movie.
