The casting was horrible. Selena was a fire cracker and the woman playing her did not portray that at all. They chose the wrong guy to play Chris, the wigs were horrible, and the fact that they made the family seem perfect like Abe didn't have a temper just made the show not worth watching. I was really hoping this was going to be good, as I am a huge fan of the real Selena, but this show is just a fail. They really should've gotten someone with more sass to play her.

I was born and raised in Austin Texas, and this show doesn't ring Austin to me at all. The country accent was way too strong to represent the CITY, the Capital of Texas. Nothing in the show rings Austin to me, and honestly the horrible misrepresentation of Austin is very offensive. Seems like the show was written and produced by people who've probably never been to Austin.

I love Mina. She’s a great designer, and i will never take that away from her. However, the show isn’t as entertaining without Karen, Tad and the rest of the Good Bones Crew. I think what made Good Bones such an exciting show, were the many personalities and the energy that the cast brung. While i love the designs from Risky Business, it just lacks excitement.
