This is one of the most aggressively bad video games 2k has ever put out. The shot meter is terrible but apparently I’m in the unpopular side of things when I say that. I will have James harden (a well know WELL above average 3pt shooter) wide open and the shot meter will be so close to being perfect that you’d need a microscope to see it’s not a “perfect release” and he will still brick it 4/5 times with “slightly early” and “96%” appearing on the screen.
By far I think the most frustrating aspect of this game though is the difficulty settings. I say this because when you raise the difficulty of a game, rather it be by choice or to complete a challenge in MyTeam, the opponents don’t get better but the game clearly screws you more. I have been called for an out of bounds after my player jumped and grabbed a rebound, Moses freaking Malone netting 3 after 3 on me, (i don’t know about you but that doesn’t sound like Moses Malone to me) even players that rated 85+ missing wide open lay up’s, and etc. I could go on and on about how many frustrations that this game has caused but deep down I know why they do all of this stuff I have stated above……to FORCE you to buy VC if you want even a fighting chance to progress in any aspect or mode the game has to offer.
