As a Halloween fan and a horror fan, this movie was very disappointing. Lazy writing, the storyline made no sense whatsoever as if it were written up in a day or two. Way too comical and nowhere near scary or terrifying. Horrible actors, useless characters, And overall just a bad film. A waste of my money.The only somewhat good thing about this movie is the brutality and gore of the kills and a good picture but then again they only showed about 3 legit kills throughout the entire movie and didn’t show people getting killed. They could have honestly just left it alone for all of that. I give it a 2/10.

This film to me was the best Halloween ever well maybe besides the original one but it’s arguable to me. It was written well and everything made sense. There was finally an explanation behind Michael Myers outrage. Rob did a great job showing and explaining to us what happened to Michael Myers and why he is the way he is while also leaving his reasons and his outrage mysterious at the same time. I really liked the score they got to play Michael because his appearance fits the character and personality of Michael Myers. He’s supposed to be this very violent hard to stop force and what better way to depict that than having someone with size play him. It also makes it more believable than all the others whic had a guy who was 5’8-5’10 playing an unstoppable violent Michael Myers. I just don’t see how someone don’t like this version or like the other versions better than this one. To me it is massively underrated as not just the Halloween serious but one of the most underrated movies ever.
