I’m not surprised to see all these one star reviews. I absolutely 100% agree. I’ve been playing Overwatch for 5 years and it was the pinnacle of gaming for me. I loved that game so much and I took pride in gaining levels and unlocking skins. Definitely worth the $80 I spent to get it and I loved it. This game however is nothing like that game at all, I don’t know what this is, but it’s not the game I fell in love with. It’s a greedy money grab as everyone else here has said, and from the updates I’ve been seeing with talk of buffing OP characters because they have a “low pick rate” - it doesn’t look like they’re going to make it any better any time soon. Every skin you buy is $25 - $30 for one skin on one character, whereas with other games, the same skin can be used multiple times. I’m not spending any more money or time on Overwatch 2, I’ll only play it if my friends are playing it too. As soon as two of the major game designers quit, I knew something was wrong. Disappointing to see what this game has become.

I waited 2 years for this game to come out, I was so excited for it. But I have to say I’m really really disappointed. It lacked a lot of character compared to the last game, and I know that is something that some gamers enjoy. So if you enjoy a free roam world that’s not very heavily based in story, then this is definitely a good game for you. However, personally, I wanted more effort put into the story and the design and it just wasn’t worth the wait or the money in my opinion. Whenever I play it, I feel like there’s something missing and it just doesn’t feel as fun.
