Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love Chucky and his movies but this show just seems a little low budgeted. I know they’re just kids but some of them just aren’t great actors, and the stabbing of Oliver in episode 3 seemed fake like Chucky’s knife was missing the body. Idk if the production was trying to keep it child friendly because it was a child getting stabbed after all but still. Also in the most recent episode (episode 5) it was obvious that the guy tied up in the chair who’s throat was sliced wasn’t sliced. The blood sliding down his wounded neck looked digital like the production ran out of fake blood and maybe the wound was made on a computer as well. And the principals head cut off at the end looked really bad. The end of the neck looked see through as hell like a compositing job gone wrong and it was obvious her headless body in the chair was a doll. They couldn’t even make the skin look real smh. Idk what’s going on but it’s honestly disappointing because if I recall none of the movies seemed to look this bad. I’m only gonna continue watching the show because of Chucky himself but otherwise the show is a little rain on my parade.
