This show had an amazing plot that was well written with incredible acting. It had raw emotion, and many of the scenes, including some of the best ones were improvised which just shows how talented these actors are. There was never a dull moment in the show, and the end of each episode made you want to click on to the next right away. This storyline was unique and something i have never seen done before, not only did it have an interesting theme, it was also realistic in terms of teens lives, problems, and views on the world. This was an LGBTQ show that was not like every other one, instead of forcing a coming out story they showed the beautiful relationship between Wilhelm and Simon and the emotional connection they shared. It showed a different perspective to each character and dived into the person they were, as well as showing normal problems like acne and skin texture which is refreshing to see instead of perfect people with zero imperfections.
