I really wanted to like this movie, and I still believe Adam Sandler did a wonderful job with what was there but from my point of view this was a scrambled mess at times. I would find myself starting to get a grasp on what was happening between the quick scene changes and constant yelling over each other just to have a new idea or character introduced to throw me off track. I think that was a point in the choas, to show all the 'dogs' nipping at Sandler's feet for their scraps and they were just getting more hungry for them over time. Some of the plot points had me very confused, especially the ending. Beware of a minor SPOILER ALERT on the ending. (The henchman betraying, what I thought was his boss in the end, was such a spin I was completely lost. I figured he was mad, but not blindingly so. It was just so off.) Point being, I wanted to love it, but I just had trouble keeping up with almost every scene consisting of people yelling over each other.
