I absolutely loved Wildlands, but Breakpoint feels almost like a downgrade. TLDR : Still a fun stealth tactical shooter, but a lot of issues. Play wildlands instead if you haven't already. THE GOOD + Revamped stealth mechanics mean you can ambush enemies then disappear into the shadows. A big improvement over wildlands. + still a solid 3rd person shooter. Guns handle and sound good. + Decent graphics/ animations + Same open world freedom and choose your own missions + Piecing the story together bit by bit is rewarding and intriguing. THE BAD - New grindy loot system makes finding your favorite weapons meaningless. - The drone enemies are either way too fast and hard to shoot or just massive bullet sponges. - Very little ambient life on the island. Enemies outnumber civilians so you get the constant tension of being behind enemy lines with no time to relax. - Bugs, unskippable cutscenes in 2020?!? - Skill tree is filled with boring passive bonuses. Very low impact on gameplay.
