When I first learned about the move title & story, I was really excited to watch it. I was left really disappointed. What was the whole idea of the movie?? Was is telling us the white Jew saved the black/Ethiopian Jew? Where is the story & straggle of the real people, we just witnessed the heroic act of white. That’s all...if I can make one point, There is no story about the biggest character in the movie “Kebede” the smuggler. What he did & the story of the people is not highlighted. The director been Israeli, It’s not difficult to conclude why this movie was made. Just read about how the Ethiopian Jew been treated at present time... I could say a lot.
