Watched this movie for the first time last night. It took a second to get into as it slowly went through the character's lives, but then I was immediately drawn in by and soon after his son was killed. However, about midway through the movie, I couldn't figure out what kind of movie it was and what angle the director was heading. At one point I thought for sure they were going to do another flashback into Taye Diggs character's life. There was too much going on between the Chinese subtitles, the Black Lives Matter movement, the "staged" actions of revenge. Overall I'd have to give this movie a solid 2 out of five.
