As a huge fan of old Xcom and with hundreds of hours of related titles under my belt, I was hugely looking forward to this title. But it's easily the most underwhelming, disappointing game I've played in a long while. The tech tree is practically non-existent and barebones, the plot is even more plain than most Xcom games, the graphics are some of the ugliest and look dated even compared to FiraXCOM, and the gameplay loop itself is frustrating instead of addicting. Hell, even the gimmick of aliens that adapt to your playstyle is almost totally unused. For something with the incredible pedigree of Julian Gollop, this is even more disappointing. Stay far, FAR away
