This film is about an Afghanistan interpreter trying to get his family out of his war-torn country by helping American soldiers through interpreting for them.
Amed, the interpreter, tries to inform the group that something is off but is ignored, leading to all except the main character, John, and Amed being killed. Amed then risks everything to help John return to his base from deep inside the country.
Amed does not get the promised visas, leads to his, his wife, and their baby going into hiding.
John goes back into Afghanistan and rescues them.
The story is gritty, suspenseful, and inspiring. I was on the edge of my seat through most of the show. It was an amazing film that Americans should see, because we failed to honor and protect those who helped our soldiers.
