In the real incident (based which this movie was made) the sub inspector was a Christian. In the movie though, his charetctor was modified into an upper caste man. Such things are unnecessary and uncalled for - if the intent is to show the struggle of oppressed. This was a struggle between those in power and the powerless/voiceless folks. Am kind of sad the truth has not been told as is. This change was made to create hate towards certain communities which was uncalled for.

Such a pathetic concept from people who just can't act. This movie does nothing but propaganda.
