I write this review with the hope that someone sees it before watching the film. I guess it wouldn't have stopped me, but that's not terribly relative anymore. What is relative is the (lack of) plot, character development, pacing, scares, and just the overall experience provided as a film. I cannot in good faith recommend watching this film, to anyone... not as a horror film nor as an activity. "How much longer is this film?" was spoken several times aloud. Yes, we all have our own intentions and whether the pedigree of talent associated with production, marketing, or some mix of this film's distribution tactics brought you here... it is just another step in your life's journey. Today's online world is dependent on aggregate reviews; the vast array of other reviewers will do more than I can, so let them tell you what to expect or enjoy. Given how many people openly praised what I spent my night watching... I just think I'll step away for a while and maybe go dig a hole to hang out in. Who am I to judge someone else's experience?
