Well it's a masterpiece at every level. The writing is first rate. Tony Gilroy is a master of showing, not telling in his character development and dialogue. Incredible soundtrack. The show also tips its cap to George Lucas with a subtlety that film buffs will notice, but doesn't beat the audience over the head with it. We're talking THX-1138 vibes. It is easily the best Star Wars of the Disney era... Which I admit isn't saying a lot. But it will be hard to beat in that respect.
