I watched an episode today With dr. EmilyTreating a goat With a trauma to his eye. It was cut and bleeding and was infected with pus. They knew the goat was runbing his eye. I was surprised she did not put a hood of shame over his head. She also said she couldn't feel an abscess . I am not a vet, The goat should have had a hood on and the eye covered so there couldn't be any more damage to the eye which is what happened. I just feel this could have been avoided if the eye was protected in the beginning
