Hamilton's Pharmacopeia on Ketamine:
An epic, non-biased, non-stigmatized portrayal of of what it's like to experience this drug. Hamilton's exploration includes a trip to India to find where the drug ACTUALLY originates and is synthesised. Though he was unsuccessful at the Indian labs and given the run around, while there, he visits a doctor and his patient's using the drug for depression. Apparently it is quite progressive for India's standards as depression isn't frequently treated within the culture. Learning and experiencing another cultures coping methods made it a fruitful journey after all.
His relationship with an elder intuitive, artist and avid K user, Timothy, is inspiring. Timothy's experiences are an incredibly accurate portrayal of the K trip and the places that it takes you. To outsiders, he may have sounded like a babbling psychopath, but when tuned into his accounts, the viewer becomes encapsulated and inspired to know more.
Visits to a clinical psychologist having herself experienced the drugs insightfulness and healing properties give a cleaner, more society friendly approach to the drug as a viable treatment option for depression and suicidal tendencies.
Thank you Hamilton for your exploration into this taboo subject matter.
