I’m not sure why this show is being hosted by Phil Rosenthal other than the fact that he’s rich and wanted to have a vanity project. I guess if you have influence you can get Netflix execs to fund travel your travel around the world while you stuff your grinning maw with food and make inane comments about it. They do pick good restaurant locations but Phil acts overly affected and creepy and you don’t really learn much of importance about the chef or their culinary traditions. My least favorite Netflix food show, i couldn’t tolerate more than 2 episodes,
