I have to say Alita the Battle Angel is such a good movie. I found it very enjoyable to watch, and I highly recommend this movie. I have to say the graphics in the movie is extremely hard to accomplish and it is the next level from Avatar. They are able to have real humans act alongside characters that are modified by graphics. The cool part about is that you forget about that during the movie, which shows how advanced the graphics are in the movie and how the story pulls you in. I am a person that is not exactly into action movies, but I have to say that this movie is one of the best, and surprisingly accurate to physics. I did find some parts of dialogue to be similar to other movies, as I looked into it. The movie followed the manga to the T. The manga was made in the 1990s, so dialogue we would think is cliche now is one of a kind back them. One can say that the movies that came up with the cliche dialogues came from Alita the battle Angel. The romantic sub plot was nice as well. At times I found it cringy, but it makes sense why it was if you logically think about the characters towards the end of the movie. Now the best part is Alita. The mystery behind her story and power keeps you on your toes the whole time you are in the theater. The action and her power just drags you into the movie and wishing you were actually there. I believe the action might be better than avatar. The reason why some may be left not satisfied with the plot or feel that it was a bit confusing is because the movie is only a portion of Alita’s full story from the manga. The manga has about 200+ chapters. It is impossible to fit that many chapters into one movie, which is why the movie is only a part of her whole story. I would not listen to the critics who gave the movie an bad review. As a normal person with normal tastes, I really liked the movie. I would also like to add. This is not a perfect movie that caters to everyone’s tastes. There are parts were people like and dislike about the movie, but that is important in a movie. I find that I like discussing about a movie after watching it almost as much as watching. Even though some may have some negative feelings about it, most can say that it was a great movie. I believe you should first watch the movie 2D then 3D to get the most out of the experience. It is a really great movie that many are missing out on. It is a 10/10
