We loved it. Neither of us have read the book but the movie was awesome. Without knowing about the book, perhaps we weren’t tainted with a bias opinion or comparison mode as we watched. But so many life lessons jam packed for everyone to learn! We binged watched it and couldn’t stop. We both were hoping it would continue with future seasons. We have an adopted son, whom was raised in an orphanage also. But that was never in my mind as I watched this movie! I’ve noticed most of the comments from the book readers were before the completed series. I highly suggest watching the entire series, without expectations and an open mind. You will see so much more!! LOVED IT!!!
