Pretty boring. The redemption that comes at the end seems to be arrived at only because that is what is expected of such a film, but seems to be not earned. Christians Bale is always amazing, but in this one note performance his talent seems wasted. There are lots of actors who could’ve mumbled their way through this stoic tough guy cliche. Nothing special
