Really expected more. The original trilogy broke ground in terms of special effects but nothing out of the ordinary was attempted with this sequel. The fact that is was also loosely based on part of the original story makes for more disappointment. I remember walking out of the movie theater when the first Matrix dropped, and I was absolutely mind-blown. For years to come movies would mimic the infamous "bullet-time scene, where with Resurrection, nothing really stood out as "ahead of its time".
