The animated segment at the very beginning was well-done! The rest of the movie didn't make much sense to me, however. I couldn't even remember their names, the plot, what they're saying, etc. Needs a huge improvement.

I'm not a Pokemon fan myself, but...the special effects, especially the visual design for the Pokemon, was very well done. I was especially intrigued by the scene featuring colossal Torterras awakening in the garden, which was depicted realistically. I never thought the VFX team would become so creative to this degree by expanding upon original elements with a twist. Overall, the movie felt relaxed with several eye-catching climaxes. To be very honest, however, I felt as if the acting and method of storytelling could have been slightly more elaborated, though, for the most part, the graphics expand on the many levels of imagination the film industry's production team can offer.

Interestingly, the movie was really funny yet exciting and builds a lot of suspense, especially towards the end when the birds and pigs must deactivate the weapon to save their islands from attack, respectively. I'm quite surprised a movie like this can have comedic elements while still staying true to its original storyline. It was also very hard to contain my laughter at the restroom scene. Truly made my night a lot better.

My mind has been blown away by how much effort went into nearly every aspect of this movie. In all honesty, I can't even think of any downsides to this movie. The graphic design, animation, and visual effects will always catch my eye. And the plot and messages it sends will always ensure that I'll get a very good night's sleep...forever. No Disney movie can beat the performance this film has created. Oh, and did I mention surprisingly HD surround sound effects? Animated movies are underrated! They're by far some of the best films I have ever watched!!!
