Rajavelu’s The Black Clouds is a breath of fresh air - a book that’s truly unique. The vignettes or “dreams” are diverse - they are realistic, unrealistic, straightforward, jarring and, most notably, raw. Each part of the book has a multitude of possible interpretations. Add to this the intense art created by Rajavelu, and the result is something that at least for me, I won’t soon forget.
