The best Brazilian movie of all time, amazing script impeccable acting, unbiased political views now I can easily throw out "O auto da compadecida", "Iracema", "dois filhos de Francisco", "Tainá" etc... No! Of course I like these movies but the first prize is for Elite Squad undoubtedly. The movie not only is well made the history is known by many Brazilians by heart it is the perfect example of the Art imitating reality.

I didn't like the acting of Wagner Moura in this movie although he is my favorite Brazilian actor. We have amazing actors and actresses here in Brazil but this insistence in acting satirically is overshadowing the amazing talents we have. One can understand the bad acting of Gregorio Duvivier in this movie and in his entire youtube career but... the idea of the movie is amazing the script of Jorge Furtado is as flawed as his political views but not enough to annul our talents.
