The campaign was too short and filled with awful dialogue and some of the worst writing I’ve ever seen in a video game. The endings were terrible. In one ending you get some cringe worthy emotional moment and the other is just a copy and paste of any other level in COD history. The multiplayer experience as a whole is less fun, less polished, less playable than any other COD in the entire franchise. Call of Duty mobile and Modern warfare 2 are both good examples of games that are objectively more fun than Black ops Cold War. There is almost no content dropped with the game, the camo challenges are glitched and don’t track properly, the leveling system for weapons take way too long and doesn’t track properly, the maps are terrible and designed by a blind person, the servers must be run by some third world Internet cafe somewhere because this connection is abysmal, the weapon balance is completely broken, the audio in this game is a hearing disability simulation, all the gun fights are a toss up and you have a 50/50 chance of winning or losing, the sprint mechanic feels like your soldier gained 45 pounds and now barely moves when you go to sprint, and SKILL BASED MATCH MAKING has ruined any chance of making this game causal or enjoyable on any level all because activision has chosen money and micro transactions over what the fans want. Zombies is the only redeeming thing about this game at all, I have been having a great time on there with my buddies. Overall, don’t waste $60 on this piece of garbage, it’s nothing short of an embarrassment and anyone who worked on this game should be ashamed to be associated with it.
