***MINOR SPOILERS*** I absolutely loved this movie. It really did fans that grew up on the games and following the lore justice. From the animatronics to cryptic dreams that I like to think are the movies answer to the video games mini games that gave us the lore. And all the while it also feels like a new story. The same story told from different eyes, and the spring trap suit its mechanisms looked phenomenal. Because it’s sticks so close to the games but at the same time tells the same story but from new eyes makes it a great watch for anyone who hasn’t played the games. And I absolutely adore the many balloon boy toy jumpscares. All in all this movie really stayed true to the original game and all the things we loved about it!!!! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!
