This book is factual, straight forward and gripping. Having grown in the same city, I was totally oblivious to certain aspects of Mumbai written about in details in this prison memoir. It exposes one to the fascinating world of crime, journalism and law, and the best part is that none of it is fictional.
The book also speaks in length about the socio-political dynamics of jail life in India all the while keeping it light-hearted and witty.
The struggles of the protagonist are well portrayed and the book leaves you with a sense of hope and belief that at the end only the truth prevails.
Definitely a must-read!
