It is typical Gene Roddenberry Star Trek -but that shouldn't (and doesn't) disqualify it as a great TV series. The stories are interesting and complex; All of the characters are interesting and actors are very good. The special affects are even better than any of the last Star Trek movies. I hope we have many more years to come! Thanks!
