I hate what they did with it. They changed way too much and took away the original charm and excitement that makes you fall in love with the characters. It's ridiculous. Film wise they did great as far as imagery, computer animation, etc. Other than that it is disappointing. I like how they made casting choices to be more inclusive, like casting lots of talented and popular black, asian and indian actors and actresses. However they almost went too far and made it obvious, like changing the baby from a boy to a girl. I am a woman and I am okay with the baby being a boy. John Dear was excited to have a boy and it's part of what made you fall in love with the character. John Dear and Darling are too harsh with Lady. They changed all the best parts of a wonderful movie. They did change some questionable parts from the original to be more politically correct which is good. Like the super racist siamese cats in the original. However that's about the only positive change besides being more inclusive.
