I love this movie. This is a story of innocent people who struggled to live and tried to live better lives even in painful circumstances. I saw some people says this movie has been made from Japanese people’s view and it seems to neglect the fact of their cruel act during the War. Of course, I know my ancestors did unforgivable things to innocent people.(I’m Japanese) I never forget this fact, but as you see in this movie, people who lived during W.W.Ⅱ believed in the manipulated information that what they did was just for their country. This movie shows the real lives of people. This movie is not meant to be a indulgence of what Japan did.
