I did not find Nicole Kidman at all convincing, in fact I found her distracting from the story. In my opinion she is a very flat actor and the only reason I made it through the entire movie was because of my sentimental love of Lucy. The actual storyline was interesting, the historical accuracy I cannot vouch for, I was not there.
