If you ever saw the musical, if you ever saw the original costumes in the theater play, if you’ve ever had a cat, if you have an imagination, you will love this movie. If you don’t get it and it just freaks you out, go read T.S. Elliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats. There’s not much plot because the theater play was taken from a book of poetry, not an actual story. The singing and dancing is amazing. Go see it for itself and don’t put it in a box. Enjoy it for what it is. Hudson’s “Memories” at the end will rip your heart out.
