Ehhhh...it was ok. Original was much better.

After watching Joker, what immediately came to my mind was, “Wow, that was definitely a dark and disturbing movie...but man, it was SO GOOD!!!!!” I will give no spoilers, but I will say it was an EXCELLENT portrayal of Arthur/Joker by Joaquin Phoenix; truly an amazing performance. He really draws you in - you can’t help but feel heart wrenchingly bad for Arthur, and even though you probably shouldn’t, you empathize with Joker as well. I also loved the reimagining of the Batman origin story, such an interesting change. I can’t say enough how great this movie was. I will be going to see it again soon, and definitely recommend that others go and check it out as well.
