At first i would like to say that this drama is a must watch. The director gave us a masterpiece. Each and everything in this drama is flawless..To acting to visual , to direction to story adaptation..Each and everything. Now we can come to the topic of the most reviewed controversy..Story adaptation and the successfulness of the given name of the drama.. At first I want to say that.. this drama is not a romance drama it's a musical fantasy drama..If you want to know where is the musical fantasy genre .. you should watch it very carefully.. In this drama the writer gave us numerous symbols that we have to crack through our wisdom.. In the drama the magician had gone through such a hard time while he wasn't wanted to be a puppet of his parents rather than he wanted to be a person who can give himself comfort, who can give other person who suffers like him to give comfort ..And then he chose magic as the method of comfort given.. when he was a child he couldn't enjoy his life to the fullest, he couldn't get to do what his heart wanted..That longings that he held back a long time since his childhood wanted to expose infront of the whole world..He chose magic to get over the longings of his heart.. The sound of the magic here is not some kind of music that you sing or make through an instrument.. It's a sound that come to the dept of your heart.. whenever you feel so full of hardships in your life the magic words that came from your heart will comfort you, that sound will help you to get through the hardships.. the sound will give you strength to move on..And the sound will also make you to motivate someone to overcome their hardships .. just like lee eul , who first get comfort from that magical words from his heart, then he comforts ah yi like the same just how he get comforted back then.. and after her he comforted and gave strength to il deung..The sound of magic here is The sound of you heart..If you want to listen what your heart want to sing..Only then you could able to find out the source of the Real Magic.. That's what writer wanted to say to us.. Now we can come to the direction.. Direction is all about a successful adaptation of some kind of story..Here the director is successful to adapt the story ..He did a great job here..He adapted the story very nicely..When we make a drama or something from a novel or something it is not about a line to line carbon copy of that novel..It depends on how nicely a director can adapt the story in their own way..So in that case the director here is successful in every way.. Now last but not the list..Mr. Ji Chang Wook you were spellbound there..Each and every angle of your performance was tremendous..All the cast were also great.. I saved 12 days of my transport cost just only to get subscription of Netflix..My family still can't afford that much expenses .. but still I get that just to watch this..And it worths my all the money and hardworks.. it's worth it.. But I want to say one thing.. Ji-chang-wook-sshi .. Please don't be in love with someone else, Please don't have somebody waiting on you.. just wait for me there.. I'll come to you..
