Watched the film and was so excited to see an old british film remade. It was so disappointing. I get the plot but it felt rushed and unsatisfying. I was waiting for Anne to take her face off but it never happened. Also most things didnt make much sense. I mean the boy didnt even have a name. The witches were robotic almost. And I'm sorry, but this felt like an insult to the original. And really? A girl turned into a chicken? Where is the painting? The whole family lost interest after 20 minutes. So tbh, if your looking for a great remake of the original dont waste your time but if you want to watch a film simply because of boredom, try and see if it's good enough. It just wasn't at all for me.

Ok so this film was amazing. The way it portrayed sexism especially to young girls and elder girls who are growing was great. It really made me feel like I could relate and question why we in society belive that it's ok to keep blatant sexism in schools. The characters that are portrayed have a little of everything like trans, disabled, black, white. Its was a mix of teen girls fighting to find right in their school of sexism. I would recommend to anyone, also to show that this is what we need nowadays and the male protagonist who stood up for the change to the sexism to had my heart. It's also a good movie to teach men and boys about sexism. Nothing was bad about this.
