While it's been compared frequently to A Quiet Place this has more in common with Frank Darabont's The Mist than that film. Unfortunatley where Darbont knew exactly how to demonstrate the true monsters are ourselves under threat, after a decent opening this stumbles around in the dark for pretty much the whole second and third act.
