It is a very interesting story about "karma" according to me. You get what you deserve and in the end it's always in the favour of good souls.
Regarding the style of Dahl, it is unassuming as always. His choice of names is remarkable as that of Mr. Boggis (impersonating the very word bogus as he was).

Indeed a very fascinating story. The notion of not only the rich having the privilege of romance is something intriguing. Wilde's views on art are worth noticing through the story.
