Absolutely laggy, buggy, hit registration mess of a game upon release. Was literally the worst multiplayer experience in the history of call of duty. I didn't go back to see if they fixed any of the issues. Just like black ops one it was unbearable to play multiplayer upon release.

To me it's just a better version of elden ring with a proper functioning camera. No open world but the significantly better story telling and memorable characters makes it a far better game. People just like to complain it's not open world. Graphics could use some work but that doesn't make the story less good or the fights less fun. Ten out of ten.

Hit registration issues and the overly campy playstyle due to severe high time to kill. These are the major flaws. Possibly the worst hit registration in any call of duty I've played. The dev team still can't manage to keep teams even you lose a player you won't get another teammate for minutes. You lose multiple players just forget it. The bigger maps are absolutely terrible. Six v six maps are good. Ground war is too many people to be fun or competitive much like ten v ten. Cyber attack is a great game mode.

Terrible multiplayer. They say they fixed the servers clearly have not. People with bad internet are laggy blurs and the game does not feel smooth at all. The servers are also bad which causes similar laggy mess. Spawn camping still not fixed ten years later. Randomly spawning with an enemy staring at your back. They had some great ideas. The stem packs are cool allow for counterplay over less skilled opponents. I am not a fan of the specific hero selects in the game because limits the utility you can have of creating a class. Just doesn't work in this game. I gave blackout a chance was absolutely terrible upon release and is not even close to being able to compete with fortnite or apex.
