This is my all time favorite historical kdrama. I came for Yoo Seung Ho and stayed for the rest of the amazing characters/cast. It has just right balance of romance, suspense, excellent plot and writing and comedy. I love that it shows so much of life outside of the palace unlike most saeguks and the production is so well done that I feel like like i lived during that period. Going on my re-watch list!

Don't be fooled by the name of the show or the synopsis. I thought it would be cheezy but i was so wrong, this is such a deep show with well thought out character development. I would give it 10 stars if I could. The Maile Lead Yoo Seung-ho is such a talented actor and so handsome!

This is my all time favorite Kdrama - I will be rewatching this for the rest of my life. The 2 main leads are perfect and the plot and acting was amazing. Lots of tears from laughter and sadness. Love this legendary epic story.

Conclusion: The world has been sleeping on this Rom/Com kdrama - it should be rated higher than the current rating! I'm a bit of a Kdrama snob and I initially thought I'd give this show a pass because it didn't rate as high as other Rom/Com Kdramas out there. I've never been so wrong and I'm so grateful that I gave Her Private Life a chance because it now easily my favorite Rom/Com for the chemistry between the 2 leads and the excellent acting and writing and plot and pace. I've watched a lot of Rom/Coms and usually they have at least 1 flaw and there is none with this masterpiece. I don't usually like to re-watch shows but I will be re-watching this one many times!

My favorite kdrama ever. The acting and chemistry between the 2 leads is amazing. Great pace, full of suspense and political intrigue and the best romantic couple EVER. This is a must watch and there's a reason it's rated so highly.
