Though I'm not usually a fan of the "summon an ancient spirit" kind of horror movie, this one does a really good job of keeping you guessing and has just the right amount of creepy scenes to keep you engaged. Jump scares are rare and used effectively

Repetitive, sure. But I think that is the point. Some complained that there is not third act or any real conclusion, but this is a movie based on real people and their struggles with addiction and loving an addict. That is how it works in real life and the film is trying to draw attention to that. It's not easy to watch, but I believe it delivers wholeheartedly in what it set out to do.
