What an incredible book. What determination and strength those under occupation in the midst of war(s) have to go through, and true love will stop at nothing to find the other soul it connected with. This book is a reminder that we need to remember the not so distant past so we do not repeat it. I loved it and forced myself to stay up to finally finish it because I did not want to put it down. Was sobbing at the end, well beyond the last word.
