If you give this 5 stars, you must not have read James Clavell’s book. This is mediocre at best. It is less than half the story. Read the book. The romance between Anjin and Mariko is so much more developed, as is everything else in the story. The 1980’s series with Richard Chamberlain was way better.

It’s foolish to believe that governments will join together to solve these problems. This world is driven by money, and that is truer today than ever before. And that is a big reason why the UN, or any coalition of nations, will will never solve earth’s problems. Humans are greedy. Nobody wants to believe in God, but pay attention to Revelation 11:18 (NIV). Logically, it is humanity’s only hope.
